François Borne (1840-1920) was a French flutist and composer, best known for his brilliant fantasy based on themes from Carmen.
This arrangement grew out of many years of performing this music in concert. The harp part was enriched with harp effects and detailed pedal markings, with comfortable page turns for performance from a tablet.
